FAQ
The eye area is notorious for showing early signs of aging. The muscles around the eyes are hard workers and the millions of actions they perform daily like blinking, smiling and frowning alone – without even factoring in other aggressors – explain why we see fine lines, puffiness, drooping and dark circles. The finer and very delicate skin around the eye area is also missing key elements necessary for firm, plump skin like soft tissue, bolder muscle and Sebaceous (Oil) Glands that deprive the area of necessary oils and nutrients, key to preserving and maintaining a healthier, younger looking skin. When you add all that up and do the skin math the solution is clear – the eye area acts differently to the rest of the skin and so its eye care treatment must be different too!
To safely and effectively hydrate, plump and protect the eye area from the breakdown of collagen and elastin you need specific ingredient formulations and a specially designed eye care system. O COSMEDICS’ range of eye care products takes a holistic, systematic approach to eye care with Bio-Energy Eye Gel and Cell to Cell Eye Cream for anti-aging, Eye Correct for dark circles and puffiness and No Baggage Native Collagen Eye Masks for plumping and firming.
While there's no set age when you should start using eye care products, it's a good idea to begin incorporating them into your eye care routine when you start experiencing specific concerns or issues around the eyes, or better – prevention is better than a cure.
Here are some general factors to consider when deciding when to start using eye care products:
• Fine Lines and Wrinkles - If you begin to notice fine lines, crow's feet, or wrinkles around your eyes, it's a good time to start using an anti aging eye cream or eye serum targeted at addressing these concerns. Prevention is key, so even if you haven't noticed significant lines yet, starting early can help maintain the youthfulness of the eye area.
• Dark Circles - Dark circles under the eyes can be caused by factors such as genetics, lack of sleep, or sun damage. Using an eye cream formulated to brighten and depuff the under-eye area can be beneficial.
• Puffiness and Bags - If you frequently wake up with puffy or swollen eyes, especially in the morning, using eye masks such as No Baggage Native Collagen Eye Masks and Eye Cream such as Eye Correct will help depuff your eyes.
• Dryness and Sensitivity - The skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate than the rest of the face, making it prone to dryness and sensitivity. If you experience dryness, tightness, or irritation around the eyes, using gentle and hydrating eye serums can help soothe and moisturise the area.

Start by cleansing the skin with a cleanser suitable for your skin, and make sure to remove any makeup, dirt, and impurities from the eye area. Follow with your favourite O COSMEDICS corrector serums and hydrators, then dispense a pea-sized amount of the eye cream and apply to the eye area using your ring finger (which applies the least amount of pressure). Lightly dab the eye cream along the orbital bone, starting from the inner corner of the eye and moving outward toward the temples.
Once you've applied your choice of eye care product, use a gentle tapping motion to pat the product into the skin. Avoid pulling or stretching the delicate skin around the eyes. You can also lightly massage the eye area using circular motions to help improve circulation and promote absorption of the eye cream or eye serum.
